The present sales terms and conditions apply the sales of all coinage, medals, tokens, collection bills, books, catalogues and supplies agreed upon via the internet site : www.galerie-des-monnaies.fr.

For sales on offers presently online, the sales conditions specific to these sales are specified on the participation form.

We do not sell to mineurs.If you are under 18 years old, You can not buy on our website without the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

The present sales terms and conditions are accepted in their entirety and without any reservations from the moment the client checks the box « I accept the sales terms and conditions ».

The present conditions can be modified without any advance warning.

Warranty

Our coinage, bills, medals and tokens are described with the greatest care, the are conform to the description and photographs on the dedicated pages.
Their authenticity is guaranteed considering the actual numismatic knowledge. The copies and remakes are listed as such.

Photographs

The pictures are taken with direct views so as not to hide any possible faults.However the lighting and way of taking the picture can slightly alter reality.Therefore photographs do not have any contractual nature.

Coin grading

The coin grading is described by the conventional agreed upon (English coin grading : G, VG, F, VF, EF/XF, UNC or French coin grading : FDC, SUPERBE, TTB, TB, …). These are obvious subjective and varies from one professional to another, they are only given for reference only. This is the same for other appreciations relative to the general aspect of the object (metal alloy, colour or patina, etc.). These indications can not be contested.

Availability

« La Galerie des Monnaies » sells on several places simultaneously and the actualization of the stock is not instantaneous, we cannot be held responsible if the product is not available at he moment of your order.

Prices

The prices indicated in Euros are net prices, without shipping costs. They are modifiable at any moment without previous warning, given that the articles are invoiced based on the agreed upon conditions at the time of the order.
All orders are invoiced and payable only in Euros.

Shipping costs and delivery

All of our shipping is insured and done by registered mail or declared value with delivery upon signature. The deliveries are done by the post office. The average shipping is 48 to 72 hours for France.

For France and Corsica

For all orders less than 300 euros, the shipping is 6 euros. Carriage paid over 300 euros, only for coinage, bills, edals and tokens.

For overseas and French overseas departments and territories

For all orders for less than 600 euros, only valuable for coinage, bills,medals and tokens.

For all deliveries outside France, eventual customs costs and local taxes are the « buyer's responsibility ».The buyer needs to inquire about the importation regulation of cultural goods in vigor in his/her country, we can not be held responsible concerning importation problems.
45 euros are charged in administrative costs for each product for which require an exportation license. (See« shipping abroad » below)

Shipping abroad, French legislation

Shipping for coinage dating back before the year 1500 and with a value of more than 1500 euros is submitted to the obtaining of a license from the French cultural ministery.This can cause delays and extra administrative costs.
The same is for coinage with values superior to 15000 euros and this is the case no matter their age.

Returns, Legal retraction rights

The coinage, bills, medals and tokens are sent in a sealed transparent envelop which allows the buyer to scrupulously examine the product upon reception. When this envelop seal is broken this signifies the complete acceptation of the purchase. No return will be accepted when the envelope's seal will be broken.

In accordance with the French consumption code, you have 14 days to exercise your « retraction » rights without paying any penalties, except when applicable, the return fees.This 14 day delay begins when you physically have the product in your possession.
When this 14 day delay expires on a Saturday, a Sunday or a holiday or day off, it is automatically reported to the next open working day.

In this way the objects that do not give satisfaction can be reimbursed if they are returned in their original packaging via registered mail or declared value (insured in accordance with the value) at your own costs within the delay of 14 days (as evidenced by the postmark).

Applicable rights

In the case if a litigation, only the court of Montpellier, France is considered competent.

Payment

Payment is dû at the reception of the pro forma invoice.
